A Summer to Remember: Alumnus Reflects on IAESTE Experience 55 Years Later

In 1961, Mickey Glantz wanted to experience a language and culture outside the United States. Through IAESTE, he ended up in the small town of St. Michel de Maurienne in France, working at a steel mill making speciality auto parts.

The program was an influential first step of his career. So when he was invited to lecture at a university in this same small town, 55 years later, he was thrilled. When he arrived, he was surprised at what he found.
